What each plan allows
“Data” means the odds, lines, scores, schedules, and related information you receive through the API. “Licensed Application” means an app, site, or product you own that displays it.
Commercial Display on Pro and above
You may display Data, and values you derive from it such as best-price comparisons, line movement, and implied probabilities, to end users of your Licensed Applications, provided that:- your application adds its own functionality, content, or analysis, and does not make Data available as a feed, export, download, bulk dataset, or API for use outside it;
- you do not expose raw API responses or share, embed, or sublicense your API credentials;
- every screen that shows Data, or a persistent element visible from it, carries the attribution below;
- you show sportsbook names and other source identification as delivered, without altering or misattributing them;
- your terms with your end users prohibit redistribution of the Data.
Attribution
Use the text “Data provided by TheRundown”, linking to
https://therundown.io wherever your display supports links. Any other wording needs written approval.https://therundown.io/assets/attribution/. Use them unaltered. Plain text with a link is equally acceptable.
If you need a different form of attribution, or none, ask [email protected].
Retention
You may cache Data only as needed for the real-time behavior of your application, and for no more than 24 hours, unless your plan says otherwise or a Supplemental Agreement grants extended retention. You rarely need to store history yourself. Opening and closing lines and your plan’s odds-history window are served by the API on Pro and above. See the Historical Odds guide.Sportsbook names and logos
Sportsbook names arrive with each price as source identification and may be displayed. Sportsbook logos and trademarks belong to their owners; TheRundown grants no rights in them, and their use is your responsibility.App-store and platform review letters
If Apple, Google, or another platform asks you to confirm your rights to display third-party content, we can provide a signed license confirmation letter. Letters are issued under a Supplemental Agreement (our Commercial Display Addendum), which also covers extended retention. Email [email protected] with your plan, the application, and the platform, and we will turn it around within two business days of a signed addendum.What always requires a Supplemental Agreement
- Storing Data for more than 24 hours
- Display without attribution, or white-label and embedded distribution
- Providing Data to third parties as a feed, export, dataset, or API
- Any use by a licensed betting operator for trading, pricing, or risk management
- Training, fine-tuning, or validating machine-learning or statistical models
